Calculation Parameters

Functions for computing custom regression parameters (e.g., temperature corrections, spectral corrections, effective irradiance) to be used as additional columns in the CapData regression.

Temperature Corrections

calcparams.power_temp_correct(data, power, ...)

Apply temperature correction to PV power.

calcparams.bom_temp(data[, poa, temp_amb, ...])

Calculate back of module temperature from measured weather data.

calcparams.cell_temp(data, bom, poa[, ...])

Calculate cell temp from BOM temp, POA, and heat transfer coefficient.

calcparams.avg_typ_cell_temp(data, poa, ...)

Calculate irradiance weighted cell temperature.

Irradiance and Atmosphere

calcparams.rpoa_pvsyst(data[, globbak, ...])

Calculate the sum of PVsyst's global rear irradiance and rear shading and IAM losses.

calcparams.e_total(data, poa, rpoa[, ...])

Calculate total irradiance from POA and rear irradiance.

calcparams.apparent_zenith(data[, site, ...])

Compute apparent solar zenith angle at each timestamp in data.

calcparams.apparent_zenith_pvsyst(data[, ...])

Apparent solar zenith at the mid-point of each PVsyst interval.

calcparams.absolute_airmass(data[, ...])

Compute absolute (pressure-corrected) airmass from apparent zenith.

Precipitable water (cm) from ambient temperature and relative humidity.

calcparams.poa_spec_corrected(data[, poa, ...])

Spectrally corrected plane-of-array irradiance.

Spectral Corrections

calcparams.spectral_factor_firstsolar(data)

First Solar spectral correction factor.

Utilities

calcparams.scale(data[, col, factor, verbose])

Multiply a single column by a scalar factor.

calcparams.multiply(data[, a, b, verbose])

Elementwise multiplication of two columns.
